Merry Christmas Card #4

Hi Everyone...

 I wanted to take 5 minutes and wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Today was a great day! My daughter was so excited by the gifts that Santa left. At one point she was talking so fast I had to ask her to slow down. I'm posting a card I made a couple of weeks ago. I gave this card to my friend's daugther Kirstin who babysits for us from time to time!!!

Christmas Card #3

Welcome to card number three! I used the patterned paper as my inspiration. I then cut out the circles to use as and embellishment. I have been very interested in the non traditional colors for Christmas cards this year!! Hope you like!!!!

Before we know it Christmas will be here!!! I used my MS lattice punch to make this card. I liked the ribbon

 and the flower. I was really taken by the non tradition colors on the pattern paper for Christmas.

Christmas Card #1

This is the first year I have decided to make Christmas cards instead of buying them. I have been working on several different ones. Here is the first of many to share. You may not be able to see it, but under the ornament I used glitter stickles to give it some shine. In the next one I will use glitter for more effect!!! Remember, your comments are always welcome!!!

I made this card to say thank you to some of the people who supported the fundraiser for my daughter's nursery. My husband took the flyer to work and got several orders to my surprise! I thought it would be nice to make a card to say thank you!!! I also placed an updated photo of our daughter inside as an added thanks for supporting us! Please tell me what you think of my work!

Bosses' Day!!!

Bosses's Day was in October!!! I had the pleasure of being treated to two of my favorite things from my secretaries.... CHIPOTLE's and mini Snickers!!! This was the thank card I made for the two ladies who make life in the main office extra special... Thanks so much Mrs Dowe, and Mrs. Brown.

I haven't posted in awhile, but I have worked on many different projects! Everyone is making Christmas cards and I have caught the fever as well. I will post those creations later, but wanted to share this card that I think I will send to my best friend in Washington state. We don't see each other often, but she is always in my thoughts!!! Make You Smile

Hi Everyone,
This is a card I made one day when I came home from work. I was feeling a mojo that day so I came home and did a little crafting. One of my favorite prints is from Basic Grey's Sugar Rush paper pad. The paper is grey with pink, green and orange flowers. I used grosgrain ribbon, punches, and of course some BLING!!! Hope you like it !!!



Christmas in October!!!

Everyone is talking about making Christmas cards and for some reason tonight I got the Christmas spirit. I used a collection of Christmas paper called, Sweet Dreams, Holiday Avenue. I bought it from Micheals during the summer and I really like the colors. Some are traditional while others are just a little off the Christmas path! Here are two cards I made to start the season !!! New Layout

Hi Everyone,

I know it has been a while since my last post, but I have been busy creaitng. I have posted  two layout I created that highlight my favorite subject.... my little girl! I gave each of them as framed works to two mother friends ( Ladies who stand in the gap for me as mommy mentors since my mom is so far away). Needless to say they were both ELATED!!!

Colors I like!

Good morning all! Today is the day we take my mom to the airport so she can return to SC. I made the card in some of my favorite color combination let mom know that my little family will miss her when she leaves. She is a big help to us as all grandparents are to their children's family. One of my favorite embellishments to use is grosgrain ribbon. Just wanted to share some of my creativity. Hope you like it!

Typically cards like this make me think about my best girlfriends, Chilain and Anicka! So to them, HI!!!

Finally Friday

Today I spent time scrapping with Anicka! We took K Werner Friday challenge which meant we needed to use punches to make a design on a card. I wasn't to impressed at first, but once i posted it, I liked it! Its fun stepping out of my comfort zone! Hope you like.....

Summer..... yes it makes you lazy!

This summer went by way to fast, but I was able to spend some time in my craft room making cards and spending time with family and friends. I was able to take a "Momcation" with my good friend Anicka in July. We traveled to Virginia and North Carolina to visit some crafts stores and buy craft materials! Yeah!!! We ate to much, spent to much, but the time spent together was not to much!!! I miss my buddy! Many of you know she lives in Bermuda and our parents took the kids so we were able to get a much needed "BREAK". I now have a stock pile of cards so I will be uploading and blogging on the regular! Hope you all enjoy!! Please some feedback on my work! This card was made with two people in mind! Both of my best friends live far away (Bermuda & California) but what I love most about them is that when we talk its like we were at each others house the day before! Love you bunches Chilain and Anicka!!!

BLOG DRAMA!!

Well I have not posted in awhile, and when I am just about to add a few of my latest creations I noticed that my blog has been completely stripped of everything! Yep, DRAMA. I have just spent the last hour trying to fix it and make it pleasing to me again! I will post some new pics tomorrow!!!!! Let's keep our fingers crossed everything works!!!

Graduation and Thank U's

This is the season for graduations and any and all kinds of celebrations! This thank card was inspired by the congratulations card below! This card will be kept until it is needed! I love the blue and green!!!

The young lady who babysits for my little darling has graduated from high school.

More Mother's Day Cards

I made these two cards for some special ladies who have helped me tremendously in my quest to be a good wife and mother. I wanted to take time to show them how much they really mean to me. Thanks Aunt Bernie and Ma Kelly. I appreciate all you do to assist me in this crazy thing called wifedom and mommyhood!!!

Mother's Day Card

I did want to make Mother's Day cards for all my mommie friends, but with work and family the time got away! I will do my best to make sure I am ready next Mother's Day. However, I will have Saturday to make 3 more of these for some special Mommie's. This card was made with my daughter's daycare provider in mind. I truly appreciate what she does with my daughter while mommie is at work, with that said I wanted her to know she is appreciated. My card design comes from one of my favorite bloggers, KWerner. My card making buddy Anicka design was beautiful and I wanted to do my own version!!! Thanks ladies!

Version #2

This is version number two of the thank you cards that I am making for my daughter's thank you cards. This time I used greens and blues! Hope you like it! Please giv creative feedback!!!

YES!!! FINALLY!!!

Today is the official beginning of my blog! I decided to take a MH day (mental health) from work and spend the day enjoying my hobby!!! Yeah!!!
My quest for today was to make thank you cards for my daughter's birthday gifts! Here is a sample of what I came up with!

BTW, my RGF ( really good girlfriend) took the day off as well and we been having a ball talking, laughing and scrapping! And the most amazing thing is she lives in BERMUDA!!! SKYPE is awesome!!!!
